A-Musing Scores Big at AACT Fest 2011

Amusing was penned by Carol Bebelle, Troi Bechet, D'Lo, Bridget Erin, Michaela Harrison, Kesha McKey, Dollie Rivas-Monroe, Valentine Price and Karel Sloane-Boekbinder.

The cast for this production included Valentine Pierce, Kesha McKey, Bridget Erin and Karel Sloane-Boekbinder.  It was directed by John Grimsley.

 

A-Musing is an original interdisciplinary work that uses many different cultural representations of the Muse as the starting point for a larger examination of race/ethnicity, economics, exclusion, inclusion, violence, and how the Muse is becoming a resurrected power that is being called upon around the world as a source of inspiration and healing. Stay tuned for a repeat performance of the show in the near future.
